The Trail

This is a captivating outdoor magical illuminated journey, set within the spectacular gardens of Monteviot House. As dusk settles over the historic grounds the magic begins to unfold.

Beginning at the Harestanes Visitor Centre, you will journey on foot through a 1.5km route of a beautifully lit trail that winds through the gardens and woods.

Creative lighting brings the natural beauty to life, whilst the experience is enhanced with breathtaking soundscapes.

Pass through the magic doorway and stroll along the trail, where you'll encounter a symphony of twinkling lights, creating a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns. Marvel at the dazzling light displays that dance across the trees and shimmering ponds, casting a spellbinding glow on every corner. Each step reveals a new spectacle, inviting you to pause and immerse yourself in the ethereal ambience.
